Firefighter Leather Helmet Chin Strap

Our new replacement leather Firefighter Helmet straps are a great upgrade for your helmet. It is a dual system design just like the one you’re most likely used to already. You can adjust the tensions with the postman slide and also release the strap quickly with the quick side release buckle. The strap slides into your helmet strap attachments points and screws shut with Chicago screws using a flat head screws driver. The strap will be stiff at first but will break in overtime with use. Scratches are completely normal from pulling the leather in and out of the postman slide adjustment. It's just part of the look and function.

Made out of 9oz full grain black cowhide leather, solid brass hand hammered rivets, solid brass Chicago Screw rivets, all metal postman slide and a durable plastic quick side release buckle.

This replacement strap works with helmets that have ring type attachment points on each side. This style should have two ring brackets (or something similar) that allows you take off your current strap and side our new leather one through with ease. Some older model helmets do not have these attachment points, but most newer models do. If you are unsure, please reach out to us and we will figure this out for you.
