Knife Roll (Belt Straps)

I have been wanting to release a knife roll for a long time. Before doing that I wanted to team up with an actual chef on it before I released it to ensure it fits the needs of a professional chef.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with my friend, Hunter Evans, on this leather knife roll design. Hunter is the chef and owner of Elvies in Jackson, MS. Elvies is hands down my family’s favorite places to eat. Not just in Mississippi but in general. I respect the love, attention to detail, and quality ingredients they put into all their dishes. Being one of my favorite places to eat at, it was a real treat being able to work with Hunter on this Knife Roll.

This Knife Roll is made from worn saddle chrome tanned cowhide leather, a dark brown vegetable tanned cowhide leather, solid brass hardware, hand hammered solid brass rivets, and an outdoor grade polyester thread. There are 5 large (2.75”) and 4 small (2”) knife slots. The knife cover flap goes over your knives when not in use and keeps them safe and secure while rolled up and on the move. When the bag is open, the cover flap can be used as another workspace for your gear. This Knife Roll features 3 inside pockets and two designated pen/utensil slots. The first two small pockets are covered with flap that can be snapped shut. Underneath the pocket flap is another large open pocket that can be used for tucking papers, small notebooks etc. Hunter had the idea of using ties for keeping the roll closed to give it a more natural feel. So you can choose to have this bag made with the leather ties or standard belt straps (ties and belt straps are interchangeable). The Knife Roll is finished with a leather handle to carry it around with you easily.
